programme - something for everyone

The Rising Sun Arts Centre

is an independent arts centre run largely with the involvement of volunteers. Our intention is to create a lively and welcoming space where people can make things happen. We run various workshops projects and live events programmes with the aim of doing something a little bit different to other venues in the town.
We hope there is something here to interest everyone. If not, let us know. Better still get involved!

Have a look at our: "Participatory Arts” page for information on: Carnival, remix reading, finchies bar and other projects you can get involved in. Visit the different Groups and Organisations which are based or hold meetings at the Rising Sun.
